EP-300, the standard water electret masterbatch we currently supply
As the predecessor of EP-6, EP-300 Water Electret Masterbatch series is currently at the upstream level in the market. As our new customer, our suggestion is to choose our latest EP-6 product for better quality and for the coming future.
EP-300 was our most shipped product, but things changed soon, because EP-6 was comprehensively leading in quality and highly recognized by customers. EP-300 is great, but EP-6 now is the best in the market.

Filtration efficiency over 99.3%, suitable for N95 / N99 masks
The water electret charging based polypropylene/electret masterbatch composite melt-blown nonwovens potentially offers improved filtration efficiency compared to the corona-electret-based ones. The water electret based melt-blown nonwovens initially achieved a higher filtration efficiency (over 99%) than the corona electret melt-blown nonwovens (about 96%). And there was no significant difference in filtration efficiency between water-electret-based meltblown nonwovens of different basis weights.
Furthermore, it is worth noting that unlike traditional corona-charged electret materials, water electret masterbatch not only improves filtration efficiency but also reduces filtration resistance of nonwovens.
Enhanced stability, suitable as a reserve fabric source
When processing and manufacturing meltblown nonwovens, high-speed water flow and friction with the fibers inside the nonwovens generate charges. These charges are easily captured by high-potential interface traps within the fiber, forming deep-trap charges. Due to the strong confinement forces within the fiber, deep-trap charges are less affected by external environmental factors such as temperature and humidity, resulting in a lower rate of decline in filtration efficiency.
Water electret meltblown nonwovens are suitable as a reserve fabric source, which can be stored for up to ten years, when corona-electret-based meltblown nonwovens can only be stored for 2.5 years under the same storage conditions.

After 50 hours at high-temperature of 90℃, filtration efficiency of water-electret-based meltblown nonwovens is still over 98.8%.

After 300 hours at relative humidity of 90℃, filtration efficiency of water-electret-based meltblown nonwovens is still over 98.9%.
